The Vox Ultima Debate Championship, an internal debate tournament organized by the Accra Technical University Debate Society (ATUDS), concluded with an exciting showdown of intellectual prowess, critical thinking, and eloquence. The championship saw a fierce contest among some of the most talented speakers and adjudicators in the society, culminating in a victory for Kelvin Asare Tei and Sama-Banya Miracle, who emerged as the debate champions.
Kelvin Asare Tei, a seasoned senior speaker, demonstrated remarkable argumentation skills and persuasive rhetoric throughout the tournament. He was joined in triumph by Sama-Banya Miracle, a Level 100 student and new entrant to the debate scene, whose exceptional performance marked an impressive debut. Their synergy and analytical depth set them apart from the competition, earning them the coveted championship title.

In the Public Speaking category, Deborah Abena Tettey, also a Level 100 student, took center stage with an outstanding display of oratory excellence. Her ability to captivate the audience with compelling storytelling, strong delivery, and thought-provoking insights earned her the top spot in this category.
The tournament also recognized the contributions of outstanding adjudicators who played a critical role in maintaining high standards of fairness and quality in the competition. Kelvin Kaku Azebiah Braun was named the Best Pro Public Speaking Judge, acknowledging his expertise and keen assessment of speeches. Gilbert Oduro Addo-Nyarko was recognized as the Best New Public Speaking Judge, demonstrating remarkable promise in evaluating speeches with precision.
In the debate categories, Nii Commey Tagoe received the award for Best Debate Pro Speaker, a testament to his superior argumentation and strategic delivery. Gloria Crusader Babson was honored as the Best Debate New Speaker, highlighting her impressive performance as an emerging talent in the debate space.

Among the judges, Judith Bawuah was named Best Debate Judge, in recognition of her meticulous and insightful adjudication. Additionally, Tofah Kwame Kafui Augustine was awarded Best New Debate Judge, cementing his status as a rising figure in the field of debate evaluation.
The Vox Ultima Debate Championship served as a platform for ATUDS members to showcase their debating and public speaking skills, fostering a spirit of intellectual engagement and excellence.
